ICEFROG WILL PRESENT A BIG PATCH FOR DOTA 2

One of the main developers of the enigmatic Dota 2, IceFrog, announced that there will be a large patch for this MOBA game version 7.27 which will be present "in the next few weeks."

IceFrog made an announcement that was quite rare they did in the Dota 2 developer forum. They revealed that the next update of the esports game would be present in a very large size and would be released in two parts.

It is also important to note that this announcement is the first time in the history of Dota 2, where IceFrog itself announced that the patch is currently being worked on. Usually news about updates is released after the Major tournament on Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), or even without prior notice.

The first part of patch 7.27 will focus on changes in economic items and systems, and other adjustments. Meanwhile, the second part contains the changes focused on the hero.

ICEFROG WILL PRESENT A BIG PATCH FOR DOTA 2

Apparently, this version 7.27 patch follows the system that was previously implemented when releasing patches 7.25 and 7.26. Both patches present a complete change to the gameplay and which in a short time is followed by several patches with smaller sizes. Usually these patches present a balance of tweaks or restore something that has been removed through a previous update.

The current Dota 2 patch, 7.26c, was released on May 3, 2020 which focuses on adjusting Hero Talents to get nerf through patch 7.26b. Even though the release distance between the two patches is only five days apart.

Thanks to these changes, summoner heroes like Lycan and Beastmaster have emerged as the most powerful characters in META Dota 2 today. Apart from that Necronomicon also remains a very popular choice among players for almost all roles.

We just look forward to what changes the developer team will present to the next Dota 2 through patch version 7.27. Most likely this change will again change the META in the popular MOBA game.
