FPS or Frame Per Second is one indicator commonly used by gamers to find out how powerful the device is in running a game. The higher the FPS produced, the better the specifications of the smartphone or PC we use.

Indeed, the appearance of the game that we see on the screen is a collection of several frames displayed per second. The higher the FPS number is generated, the smoother the movement of the game. If the FPS is generated as much as 60 fps, this means that in one second there are 60 frames displayed on the screen.

  4. In the Welcome window click the Begin button -> Click to enable -> Allow access to use as shown in the image below. 
  5. Then you will be told to activate USB Debugging. If you don't know how, please read the tutorial on how to activate USB Debugging on Android. If it is active, open the GameBench application again, so you will be asked to visit the link listed there. 
  6. Next we switch to computer devices, please access the link, then log in with the account that was created earlier. 
  7. After successfully logging in, you will be asked to download the GameBench Android launcher service and Java software (if you haven't installed Java on your computer). Because this software cannot be run without the help of Java. 
  8. Install Java by double clicking the JavaSetup.exe file that was downloaded earlier, then click Install. If you have Java installed on your computer, you can skip this step. 
  9. Wait for the installation process to complete. 
  10. After Java has been successfully installed, connect your Android phone to the PC using a USB cable. Then it will appear on the Android screen as shown below, then press OK. 
  11. Then run the GameBench-Installer.exe software that was downloaded earlier. Wait until your device is connected and the message "GameBench Service starts successfully on device" appears. This means that the complicated settings have been successfully carried out. 
  12. While on the smartphone screen a message will appear as below and now you can disconnect the USB cable. 
  13. The next step we will add the game that will be played into the GameBench application. How to click Add -> Check the game title -> click the play button to start the game. 
  14. Congratulations, now FPS Meter has appeared in the upper right corner when playing the game. To stop it simply by pressing the stop button.

This GameBench application not only functions as a FPS viewer, with GameBench you can see the analysis of resource usage while playing the game, for example the use of processor, RAM, FPS, and so on.
